Personal Lines Account Executive

Patchogue, NY

Work Schedule: Hybrid 2-3 days remote

Salary $60-85,000

Our Client a 50 person Melville Brokerage known for a professional and pleasant work environment seeks experienced Personal Line Account Executive to oversee a book of Personal Line Clients. 

Responsibilities

• Service and manage insurance needs of assigned High Net Worth and middle market Personal Line clients
• Maintain client related information, process insurance transactions and communicate with clients and insurance companies relating to clients’ insurance program
• Assure coverage is maintained at all times and/or management notified if there are any potential coverage or pricing issues or any other problems
• Communicate with client and producers to avoid late payments of premiums and possible cancellations
• Handle all customer relations and client support services. Identify new coverage opportunities and work with producers to enhance client development and service
• Bind coverage changes within binding authority
• Work with other members of the department as well as other departments in maintaining company communications and relations
• Use courteous, professional phone techniques and service clients, carriers and office staff
• Special projects and other job related duties as assigned

Requirements

          Five + years experience in Personal Lines servicing accounts in a busy, fast-paced environment

• Experience working with high net-worth carriers such as ACE, Chubb, AIG, Cincinnati, PURE, Berkley One and middle-market carriers such as Travelers, Kemper, Encompass, Progressive & National General
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, detailed oriented
• Knowledge of Applied Epic (preferred) to set up prospects as well as new clients & have thorough working knowledge on how to navigate the system
• Experience preparing Excel worksheets for various projects as well as ability to provide a summary of insurance for clients as needed
• New York State P&C Broker’s License
