Marketing Executive -

Location:  Melville, NY

Work Week: Can be 100% remote if you live on Long Island or  Hybrid Flexible

Salary$  $90-130,000 + Terrific Benefits 

Our client, recognized as one of the best places to work in Western Suffolk County, is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Marketing Executive to place new business and renew complex commercial accounts generating between $100,000 and $3,000,000 in premium.

This position plays a key role in the growth and retention of a substantial commercial book of business. Each large account if is reviewed approximately 90 days prior to renewal to evaluate carrier performance, marketplace conditions, and coverage needs, allowing the development of a strategic placement plan designed to best serve the client. 

Responsibilities  

• Market and help retain a large and diverse book of commercial lines book of business through superior relationship management, technical expertise, and marketing skills as part of a professional marketing team 
• Maintain a strong understanding of insurance company appetites, products, underwriting guidelines, and marketplace trends.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurance company underwriters.
• Market and remarket existing accounts to obtain the most competitive and appropriate coverage solutions.
• Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with underwriters on behalf of clients.
• Assist in developing renewal strategies for complex commercial accounts.

Qualifications

• Current New York State Property & Casualty License.
• Extensive commercial underwriting and coverage knowledge.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage a busy desk consisting primarily of large commercial accounts.
