A small, well-established and friendly local insurance agency in Southampton NY is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join a collaborative 3-person service team. This role is ideal for someone who can remotly work independently while contributing to a team oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare quotes and applications for commercial and personal lines
- Process ACORD forms, ID cards, and certificates of insurance
- Assist clients with day-to-day service needs and policy inquiries
- Market and remarket accounts; manage renewals
- Navigate carrier websites for rating and quoting
- Maintain accurate documentation and client records
Qualifications:
- Active New York State Property & Casualty License
- Working knowledge of the insurance brokerage environment
- Proficiency with carrier rating platforms and quoting tools
- Strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to gather underwriting information and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Detail-oriented with strong communication and customer service skills
