Account Manager

Location: Riverhead, NY 

Work Week (Hybrid)   

Salary $80-110,000 + Benefits & Bonus

Our client, a 40+ person broker that is known for its presently professional work environment is currently searching for a Account Executive to run a general commercial book of middle market business  

Responsibilities

• The position involves retention, relationship management, negotiating with underwriters, servicing policies and placing new and renewal busines
• Service and maintain all aspects of a variety of Commercial Accounts ($50,000 to $600,000 pv)
• Market renewals and new business on existing accounts
• Identify cross marketing opportunities and Round out accounts
• Review applications and policies for accurate information
• Prepare Reports and Proposals
• General processing - claims reporting, auto ID cards, Certificates of Insurances, Binders, etc.

Qualifications

• Candidate nust be professional, career motivated, innovative and works well with others
• Current NYS Brokers License
• Minimum 5 years experience in commercial insurance
• Experience with navigation and on-line rating on company websites
• Familar with EPIC client management system
