Commercial Lines Marketing Manager – Insurance Brokerage

Location: Melville, NY-

Salary: $175,000 – $225,000

Schedule Hybrid (3 Days Remote)

Our exclusive client, a well-known and highly respected insurance brokerage, is seeking an experienced and talented Commercial Lines Marketing Manager. This leadership position requires a strategic thinker who can effectively manage carrier relationships, guide a team of 9 marketing professionals, and place challenging and complex commercial risks. 

The Portfolio: You’ll work across a diverse and dynamic book of business, including: Commercial Real Estate & related construction, High-End Retail, Pharmaceuticals, Health Sciences, Manufacturing, Not-for-Profit Organizations, Transportation & Logistics, Food Processing. Restaurants & Hospitality, Professional Services, Environmental and Tech/IT Risks and Other mid- to large-market business sectors typical of the tri-state region 

Role Overview: This is a Marketing Management position where you will: Collaborate with Producers and Account Executives, develop new business strategies, navigate a changing marketplace to secure competitive placements, Contribute to high-level planning with executive leadership 

Qualifications:

• Active Property & Casualty Broker’s License
• 7+ years of commercial marketing experience within a retail brokerage
• Proven experience managing carrier relationships on both regional and national levels
• Demonstrated ability to place complex risks across various industries
• Solid existing underwriting relationships based on trust and performance
• Deep knowledge of risk financing, pricing structures, and carrier appetite
• Experience with Applied Systems (preferred)
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and writing skills
• Internet and carrier portal proficiency
• A confident, professional, and collaborative style
