Hybrid remote Insurance Broker Construction Account Executive

Location Plainview, NY… Hybrid Remote days and hours are flexible

Salary $85 – 130,000 + Benefits and incentives 

Our client, a privately owned Smithtown $9 milliom income brokerage that provides terrific benefits and pleasant work environment that offers unmatched growth potential seeks an experienced Account Executive  to manage a book of Construction Clients.

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of a portfolio of new and renewal business
• Market new and renewal accounts
• Gather and decipher underwriting data
• Evaluate existing coverages and make recommendations as needed
• Day to day client contact fostering an excellent relationships with clients and carriers
• Review policies and quotes for accuracy
• Formulate proposals and Attend client and prospect meetings
• Coordinate pre renewal and strategy meetings
• Review Audits and endorsements for accuracy
• Prepare professional submissions for the marketplace
• Authorize the release of quotations, proposals, certificates and applications
• Review and audit policies to ensure that they are in compliance and coverage
• Manage your renewal list making sure that all data has been requested

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ brokerage experience including 2 years working with construction clients
• Active Property & Casualty broker’s license
• knowledge of the construction insurance marketplace, products, coverages, and underwriting protocol
• Capable of understanding written and oral communication along with abstracting information
• Able to prioritize and adapt to an ever-changing environment
• Proficient with AMS 360 and or EPIC, Excel, Word, and Salesforce
