Assistant Bookkeeper - Bay Shore, NY

Assistant Bookkeeper

Location: Bay Shore, NY

Salary $65-75,000 + Benefits

Our client, A terrific Insurance Managing General Agent known for their professional and present work environment seeks an assistant bookkeeper with growth potential

 

Responsibilities Assist with:

  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable:
  • Work with bookkeeper to create invoices and ensure the due dates are correct
  • Code all invoices received according to the general ledger of accounts and enter bills into QuickBooks
  • Maintain historical records by filing documents

Qualifications

  • Some premium accounting and AR and AP experience
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • active and independent with the ability to take initiative
