Insurance Brokerage Associate Marketer

Location Woodbury, NY 

Salary $60-80,000

Our client, a 100+ person broker that is known for its pleasant professional work environment is currently searching for a an assistant marketing representative with star potential for their NYC office.

The position involves negotiating with underwriters and placing new and renewal business 

Qualifications

• Assist with the placement of both new and renewal business across multiple lines with multiple carriers- this includes the negotiation of premium and coverage
• Oversee the overall set up of each account they are assigned to in Salesforce

Requirements

• Review of submissions received from Account Executives before sending to market. 
• Work with the Marketing Rep during the preparation of new business submissions
• Attend strategy meetings
• Confirm the accuracy of quotes and binders received from carriers 
• Update Epic with details and any progress on each account
• Maintain and update department carrier files, diaries, and contact lists
• Prepare insurance market presentations
• Create and review new business and renewal proposals
• Review binders, policies, endorsements and other related items; verify their accuracy and facilitate corrections when necessary
