Insurance Brokerage Account Executive

Rocky Point, NY (Hybrid)

Work Week  Hybrid 2 days from home 

Salary: $65-85,000 + Comprehensive Benefits 

Our Client,  is a dynamic and growing insurance broker that is adding a middle market account executive to its commercial team, ucturing the Commercial Lines Division

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate excellent ability to understand exposures and dissect policies for proper coverage.
• Utilize a solid understanding of the marketplace for placement of new business lines and remarketed renewals.
• Possess a clear understanding of coverages for BOPs, Package Policies, Mono-line Property, Business Auto, Workers Comp, Excess/Umbrella, EPLI, Cyber, etc.
• Service and maintain relationships with assigned clients, handling a renewal book 
• Interact with Producers and Prospects on leads, obtaining necessary underwriting information
• Prepare detailed submissions, including premium/loss summaries for all assigned new business accounts and on any assigned renewal account re-marketing.
• Provide advice and develop coverage plans for all assigned new business and renewal customers.
• Utilize carrier rating portals for accurate rating.
• Prepare proposals as needed.
• Bind policies and conduct due diligence with all required signed forms and paperwork.
• Process daily incoming communications and respond promptly.
• Assist clients in making appropriate coverage changes.
• Demonstrate understanding of Liability and Workers Comp Audits.
• Set priorities and manage workflow to ensure efficiency.

 Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Account Executive or Account Manager in the insurance industry.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance coverages and policies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in rating via various carrier rating portals.
• P&C License required.
