Associate  Underwriter -Commercial

Loction – Carl Place, NY 

Work Week Hybrid 

Salary: $70-90,000 +Benefits

Our client, a 22 person Retail/Wholesale Broker requires 2 additional underwriters to service book of mid-size commercial clients primarily consisting of Real Estate, Construction, retail, automotive hospitality, professionals and BOP's

Responsibilities        

• Retain existing business and develop new business from existing clients
• Service existing book of commercial accounts
• Service new business policies, process renewals and endorsements, change requests, certificates of insurance, cancellations, online rating, etc.

Requirements

• License preferred not required
• Minimum 3 years commercial insurance experience rating and processing policies
• Able to receive and respond to customer's needs and develop solutions
• Well organized with ability to multi task in a busy environment
• Excel experience required
• Knowledge of Epic a plus
