Insurance Brokerage Account Executive

Location: New Hyde Park, W/C  Hybrid

Salary: $125-150,000 + Benefits

Our Client, one of the fastest growing brokers in the tri-state area seeks a Commercial Lines Account Executive to manage a diverse book of middle market business

Responsibilities

• Retain and grow the book by providing risk expertise, excellent service, relationship management and conflict resolution skills
• Provide risk management and brokerage client services
• Be as familiar with nursing home and assisted living industry trends as you are familiar with insurance trends
• Remarket existing business and negotiate with underwriters.
• Participate in new business marketing
• Prepare applications, proposals and detailed excel spreadsheets.

Qualifications

• Current NYS Property and Casualty license
• Extensive underwriting/coverage knowledge
• Experience dealing with clients and company underwriters
• E xcellent communication, organizational and analytical skills or.
• Ability to check policies, endorsements, audits and loss runs for completeness and accuracy
• Ability to handle busy desk; large accounts
• Conflict Resolution Skills
