Commercial Marketer - Melville, NY (Hybrid)
Insurance Brokerage Commercial line Marketer
Location Melville, NY (Hybrid Remote days and hours are flexible)
Salary: $75-100,000 - Excellent Benefits
Due to an increase in business, our client, a fast-paced and growing 100 + person broker known for its expertise in the construction, real estate and technology fields of business requires an addition to its marketing team
Responsibilities
- Strong ability to multi-task
- Market Intel – (known markets and reconnaissance on emerging markets, as respects appetites, access points, etc.)
- Gathering of underwriting data for quality submission to marketplace including but not limited to supplemental app’s, loss-runs; EMR data; other applicable data for construction or non-construction related opportunities.
- Entering data into EPIC for ease of transition to Service Team
- Reviews and summarizes marketing results and prepares proposals
- Assist younger generation of producers by helping them qualify leads, gather, organize and quote some of the smaller clients (Sal, Theresa, Michelle, Jason – we’ll all help you get acclimated to known markets).
- Assist Senior staff/partners on rounding out of accounts (completion of Pollution, EPLI, Crime, Cyber applications as needed)
- Proposal formatting / preparation (comparison format)
- Prepare Loss stratifications at various retention levels
- Prepares summaries and/or schedules of coverage for clients
- Reviews client accounting history, responds to accounting inquiries, corrects discrepancies, and contacts client on receivable collections
- Provides technical guidance to staff assisting with client needs or procedural issues
- Notifies producers of pertinent information related to client retention
- Finance Requests, Invoicing and running schedules of insurance as requested for new accounts.
- Engages in optimal and appropriate usage of applicable agency management system
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 3-5 years related work experience
- Valid P&C insurance license
- Must continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal
- Encouraged to complete career growth objectives as communicated by supervisor
- Microsoft Word, Excel experience
- By 90-day mark, be able to navigate thru EPIC, print Acord app’s, attach email conversations to EPIC, print ID Cards or certificate 25’s, 28’s on new accounts until transitioned to an AE Team for handling.
