Associate Account Executive

Location: Plainview, 2/3 Day Remote

Salary $65-80,000 

Our Client, a  leading 100 year old, Plainview broker known for its pleasant and professional work environment seeks a Commercial Lines Associate Account Executive to assist a SVP manage a book of middle market diversified accounts. 

Responsibilities   

• Manage your assigned clients (premium between $200,000 and $3 million)
• Mentor and assist team members when necessary
• Help retain and grow the book by providing risk expertise, excellent service, relationship management and conflict resolution skills

Qualifications

• Current NYS Property and Casualty license
• High degree of underwriting, coverage knowledge and technical expertise.
• Experience working with admitted and non-admitted carriers and rating systems
• Ability to negotiate with underwriters and navigate carrier websites
• Prior experience quoting binding and issuing policies via carrier portals
• Ability to prepare applications, proposals and detailed excel spreadsheets. 
• Excellent communication, organizational, Conflict Resolution and analytical skills
• Team player with track record of working cooperatively to achieve objectives
• Exceptional organizational skills, ability to multi-task and be flexible to changing client needs
• Self-motivated with a high degree of professionalism
• Knowledge of AMS 360 is a plus navigating carrier websites is a must
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
