Associate Risk Manager - Construction - $90-100,000 - Plainview, NY 

Our client, a large and well-known Construction company seeks an associate risk Manager with insurance, claims and compliance experience. This is a mid-level position with rapid advancement

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontractor’s insurance vetting
• Performing contract reviews and remediation with a specific focus on insurance and indemnity
• Review and analyze subcontractor’s insurance policies for compliance 
• Identify noncompliant insurance and determining the need to obtain insurance waivers
• Developing risk reduction approaches and participate in claims reviews
• Manage the certificates process 

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ construction, insurance carrier, brokerage or risk consulting experience
• Excellent communication and client service skills
• High-level organization and process consistency
• Proficiency in all Microsoft office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe)
• Focused independent worker with time management skills
