Commercial Line Marketer

Location: Valley Stream, NY

Salary: $75-95,000

Due to a restructuring, our client, a 35 person privately owned broker seeks a Commercial line marketing executive to prepare and deliver quotes, proposals, place the business and onboarding for all lines of insurance. 

Responsibilities

• Assist prospect with completion of applications
• Analyze current insurance and evaluate coverage terms and limits for adequacy
• Negotiate terms with carriers and deliver superior coverage at competitive prices
• Bind coverage and provide client with evidence of coverage
• Ensure client account is up to date and all details and notes are the agency management system
• Assist with transition of the account to an account manager
• Maintain a new business pipeline spreadsheet and provide monthly progress reports

The qualified candidate must have:

• 8+ years personal lines experience client/account management services
• Proper insurance licenses
• Experience with Applied Systems TAM, Excel, Word and general computer skills
• Strong communication skills, work well in a team orientated environment and under pressure
• Good leadership, analytical and organizational skills
