Insurance Brokerage Account Executive - Woodbury, NY Hybrid or Remote

Account Executive Real Eestate

Location Woodbury, NY…  2 or 3 Days Remote Will consider 100% Remote

Salary $125,000 – 140,000 

Our client, a well known and respected broker with over 100 employees provides terrific benefits and pleasant work environment and unmatched growth potential seeks an experienced Account Executive to manage a Real Estate  Book.

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of a portfolio of new and renewal business
  • Market new and renewal accounts
  • Gather and decipher underwriting data
  • Evaluate existing coverages and make recommendations as needed
  • Day to day client contact fostering an excellent relationship with clients and carriers
  • Review policies and quotes for accuracy
  • Formulate proposals and Attend client and prospect meetings
  • Coordinate pre renewal and strategy meetings
  • Review Audits and endorsements for accuracy
  • Prepare professional submissions for the marketplace
  • Authorize the release of quotations, proposals, certificates and applications
  • Review and audit policies to ensure that they are in compliance and coverage
  • Manage your renewal list making sure that all data has been requested

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years’ brokerage experience including 5 years working with Real-estate clients
  • Active Property & Casualty broker’s license
  • Extensive knowledge of the Real-estate insurance marketplace, products, coverages, and underwriting protocol
  • Capable of understanding written and oral communication along with abstracting information
  • Able to prioritize and adapt to an ever-changing environment
  • Proficient with, EPIC, Excel, Word, and Salesforce
