Marketing Representative 

Location: Oceanside, NY

Salary Range : $90,000 to $120,000 + Excellent Benefits & Bonus 

Our client, career minded commercial lines marketing representative - superstar who is highly organized, well spoken, licensed, able to develop solid middle market marketing strategies  and works well with clients and carriers

Responsibilities

• Place new and renewing business
• Follow up with carriers for submission status, quotes, etc.
• Prepare and / or modify quotations and / or proposals when required.
• Maintain a suspense file for proper follow up of outstanding quotation requests if applicable.
• Utilize agency automation with a high level of knowledge and proficiency.
• Maintain the Top Gun Database for the office.
• Coordinate the transition of accounts from Marketing to the appropriate service team

Qualifications

• Develop a full working knowledge of commercial lines procedures.
• Minimum 3 years commercial insurance experience
• Working knowledge of carrier online rating systems.
• Experience working with multiple carriers and rating systems
• Ability to negotiate with underwriters and navigate carrier websites
• Excellent organizational skills
• Self-motivated with a high degree of professionalism
• Good communication skills
• Knoledge of Epic is a large plus
