Benefit Associate Account Executive - Garden City, NY (hybrid)
Benefit Associate Account Executive
Location: Garden City Prefer in-house will consider Hybrid (flexible days and hours)
Salary Range $65,000 -$80,000 Excellent Benefits
Our Client a National Brokerage that provides a pleasant and professional work environment seeks a Benefit Associate Account Executive capable of building client relationships in conjunction by providing quality customer service to ensure retention of clients and solicit bids on new business.
Essential Duties and Functions:
- Prepare renewal letters along with additional documents such as Insurance Coverage Review Forms, Less than A- Acknowledgment letters and signoff’s when applicable
- Prepare quotes for new and existing small groups on our online employee benefits software
- Market Large groups new and existing groups by compiling all benefit information and preparing email to all carriers, then forwarding the RFP
- Provide network analysis
- Prepare spreadsheets based on marketing results for Large group medical marketing and all ancillary products, Life, LTD and Dental
- Prepare overview and proposal for new business and renewal meetings
- All Quality Control Paperwork needed for each renewal completed, RFP Tracking Form, Plan Implementation Form and Plan Rate Confirmation Forms completed
- Forward and follow-up on enrollments, changes, and terminations forms to proper carriers
- Dispute medical/dental claims, appeals, and billing issues
- Assist in group enrollment process reviewing all documentations, copying, and forwarding to proper carrier/general agent and follow up on the processing
- Attend Open Enrollment Meetings and review benefits with employees
- Maintain Electronic Client File
- Provides updates to Account Executive/QC Manager for the Monthly Renewal Report
- Monthly Self Audits to be prepared and given to Account Executive/QC Manager
- Updates TAM with new lines of coverage and policy numbers
- Handle servicing, marketing and replacement for assigned only Small/or Large Group DBL
