Commercial Account Executive - Melville NY (Remote or Hybrid) )

Insurance Brokerage  Account Executive

Location Melville , NY

Work Week Remote or Flexible Hybrid

SALARY Range $150,000 to $175,000 + Executive Benefits + Bonus + 401K

Our client, is a well-known and respected 100 + person broker seeks an account executive that is familiar with larger middle market business ($200,000 to $2 million premium) who can manage a $2 million income book, lead a small team and be an integral part growing the book.  

Qualifications    

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience servicing larger clients
  • Excellent knowledge of markets and products
  • Capable of multi-tasking and working on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Relationship management and conflict resolution skills
  • Must have current NYS Property and Casualty license

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Involvement in the marketing of new and renewal business
  • Evaluating existing policies and coverage and recommending improvement 
  • Service and develop the assigned book of business 
  • Deliver positive consistent interaction with clients and markets 
  • Prepare and deliver renewal and new business presentations
  • Regularly attend client and prospect meetings
  • Identifies exposure to loss and recommends appropriate solutions
