- Provides yearly renewal reviews, which include recommendations to enhance coverage and cross-selling.
- Remarkets as necessary, keeping in mind both the premium and client’s needs.
- Works with both middle market and high net worth insurance companies such as Travelers, Utica, Safeco, National General, Hanover, Hartford, Chubb, PURE, AIG, Cincinnati, and Berkley One.
- Strong knowledge of insurance company’s rating systems.
- Works with excess lines brokers to place coverage for difficult risks, e.g., non-renewals due to multiple claims.
- Maintains strong relationships with underwriters by working together to assess risks and determine eligibility.
- Prepares detailed proposals for potential new clients as well as schedules of insurance for current clients.
- Performs quoting and issuing of policies and endorsements.
- Issues documents such as certificates, ID cards, and binders.
- Strong knowledge of EPIC.
