Customer Service Representative

  • Expedite client and carrier requests through to resolution, collaborating with major carriers including Travelers, National General, Hartford, Nationwide, American European, Progressive, USLI, and Plymouth
  • Prepare schedules, collections, and customer record updates to ensure accurate and continuous coverage
  • Assist clients with claims reporting and follow-up
  • Enter detailed service notes into customer files for future reference
  • Order and/or process endorsements, invoices, audits, certificates, proofs, binders, ID cards, loss policy releases, cancellations, reinstatements, and inquiries
  • Manage in-house binding and handle voluntary market and assigned risk applications
  • Ensure carrier compliance by implementing and documenting underwriting recommendations
  • Support senior brokers by collecting, evaluating, and updating applicant information in accordance with underwriting guidelines
  • Manage mid-term policy changes and documentation updates
  • Serve as liaison for insured and underwriter inquiries, escalating issues when appropriate
  • Utilize Hawksoft agency management to administer client files
  • Train new staff on agency procedures, best practices, and customer service standards
