Account Executive
- Responsible for marketing and servicing a variety of larger commercial clients including real estate, parking garages, construction, food & beverage distribution, manufacturers and non-profit organizations.
- Ensure clients are tended to including processing policies/endorsements, invoicing, certificates of Insurance, premium breakdowns, ID cards, audits, claims, renewal preparation, etc.
- Work closely with producers and owners on the servicing of larger accounts and new business.
- Mentor and supervise multiple Account Assistants in the handling of daily tasks
- Establish, cultivate and manage relations with clients; as well as carrier partners and internal resources.
- Identify gaps in coverage and advise prospects and clients with options; as well as coverage needs.
- Responsible for loss analysis, providing coverage comparisons, review of policy forms, claims reporting etc.
- Manage the renewal process for all assigned and prospective clients including loss trend analysis, the negotiation of renewal pricing, stewardship reporting and preparing and delivering the renewal proposals. Grow book of business through networking and referrals to identify prospects, and cross-selling.
- Support sales team with new business meetings and implementation of new clients.
- Review and resolve client disputes regarding complex underwriting and claim issues
- Ensure internal compliance and client disclosure requirements, policies, endorsements, and certificates meet client expectations, legal requirements, and insurance operations.
- Support training initiatives for new service and sales teammates.
- Utilize Epic management system, Word, Excel and carrier websites to market and manage client’s policies.
- Train new employees, for internal system EPIC.
- All other duties as assigned.
