Commercial Property & Casualty, Account Executive/Broker

• Service, market, and retain an $8M book of commercial accounts (premium range: $5,000–$500,000).
• Place new business and all remarketing of existing accounts with admitted and excess carriers.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure retention and satisfaction.
• Identify cross-marketing opportunities and round out accounts.
• Expedite client and carrier requests to ensure timely resolution.
• Review applications and policies for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify and explain coverage options and gaps; strong expertise in Property, General Liability, Workers Compensation, Auto, Umbrella, NY Labor Law, and specialty coverages.
• Navigate and rate policies online through carrier portals including AmTrust, Guard, Hartford, Travelers, CNA, NYSIF, ShelterPoint, RTS, RPS, Merchants, Wright Flood, Zurich Builder’s Risk, Utica National, and Utica.
• Support a wide range of industries including contractors, artisans, commercial & habitational real estate, light manufacturing, professionals, automotive, general businesses, and BOP accounts typical of the tri-state area.
• Process, review, and issue monetary and non-monetary binders; rate and issue policies.
• Prepare reports, proposals, and supplemental applications.
• Handle general processing including claims reporting, auto ID cards, certificates of insurance, and binders.
• Review contracts and process certificates of insurance and evidence of property; advise insureds on deficiencies and recommend additional coverage as needed.
• Maintain accurate and organized insured records.

TECHNOLOGY:  Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel, Windows, Vertafore AMS360, mageright, extensive software and hardware knowledge
