• Communication with insureds, claimants, brokers, attorneys and adjusters on a daily basis
• Responsible for making initial reports on losses, checking for coverages

• Daily telephone interaction with all services of personal and commercial accounts

• Setting up WC and General Liability claims,
• Review Contracts & Cert. of Ins. to forward on to the carriers
• Tender claims to Sub-contractors when necessary.
• Following up with General Counsel and setting up reserves.

• Familiar with all types of coverage, handling large accounts consisting of General Liability, Property, Casualty, Directors & Officers, Garage Keepers' Legal Liability, General Contractors; EPL, Error & Omissions, Workers' Compensation, DBL
• Knowledge of major medical claims
• Training and hiring for Claims Department
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills necessary to carry out duties in a professional manner
