Senior Broker, Construction Broker

  • Responsible for the oversight of Broking Support for the New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania & Illinois Offices
  • With a specific focus on Casualty lines of business, the Sr. Broker supports any renewal and new business opportunities by sharing vast knowledge of the marketplace and corresponding carrier appetites and guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain new & existing carrier/MGA/wholesale relationships and bring new market relationships for the teams to utilize. x Analyze renewal and new business insurance programs to determine the best placement to secure the broadest terms & conditions available for each risk. This could involve reviewing policies and coverage to assist colleagues with current clients or reviewing insurance programs for new opportunities and drafting various coverage analysis presentations to leverage our expertise and secure new clients.
  • Assist with New Business Strategy and participate in prospect meetings to leverage the value-add services that we provide and showcase our technical skillsets in reviewing terms, program placements & structure, contract compliance and balance sheet protection, etc.
  • Constant review of our overall book of business to ensure we are accessing markets properly (i.e. accessing markets directly opposed to using wholesalers when not needed) and to ensure appropriate revenue percentages are being obtained for maximum profitability.
