Commercial Lines Account Executive

  • Manage and service a commercial lines real estate book of business; book approximately $5 million.
  • Collaborate daily with assistant to handle tasks efficiently.
  • Prioritize and organize workflow
  • Provide detailed review of risks upon renewal.
  • Prepare renewal proposals including coverage analysis and present to insured Correspond with and maintain a good rapport with insureds.
  • Coordinate with Producers on accounts when necessary
  • Knowledge of multiple carrier appetites. Market, quote and place existing business with Travelers, Hartford, Andover, Merchants, CNA, Amtrust, Liberty Mutual, Guard, Great American, Glencar/New Empire, USLI, Lancer, Brownstone, Distinguished, Seneca, Philadelphia, Core, Balance, Aspyre .
  • Utilize wholesalers when needed; RT Specialty, AmWins, Morstan, Heffner, Bass Underwriters.
  • Gather all renewal information including exposures, completed, applications, statement of values, loss runs and updated financial reports.
  • Process service requests and follow through for completion

Commercial Lines Account Executive

  • Managed and serviced a commercial lines book of business that included: auto repair, chain restaurants, construction, lessors’ risks, contractors; book approximately $1.5 million.
  • Marketed, quoted and placed new and existing business with Travelers, Hartford, Merchants, Guard, Liberty, Amtrust, Utica National, Lancer, Appalachian, Nationwide, Philadelphia and Progressive
  • Worked with wholesalers on surplus risks: RT Specialty, Scottish American/Novatae, RPS, RMS
  • Collected all information to quote new business including exposures, current premiums,
  • Completed applications and loss history.
  • Obtained all renewal information and processed renewals per monthly expiration list.
  • Utilized insurance knowledge to round accounts, cross-sell and up-sell.
