ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE EXPERIENCE
- Manage, market, administer, and retain a book of commercial clients ($5,000 to $600,000 premium)
- Responsible for the day-to-day account management for a wide variety of clientele
- Proficient in carrier websites for rating, billing and processing changes
- Prepare proposals, applications; submit applications and renewals to eligible and appropriate carriers
- Market new and renewal business by reviewing competitive quotes
- Communicate with wholesalers and underwriters to negotiate competitive rates for insureds
- Verify each renewal accuracy and renew policies following agency standards
- Ability to provide contract review to ensure compliance with insurance requirements.
- Process renewals, endorsements, cancellations, Certificates of Insurance, Binders, Auto ID Cards, etc.
ASSOCIATE UNDERWRITING EXPERIENCE
- Underwrite, rate and issue new and renewal business for multiline coverage including online rating BOP, commercial package and monoline GL and Monoline Property, Excess, Commercial Auto, and Worker Compensation in both direct standard and E&S binding carriers for all types of risk.
- Re-market renewals, contact clients, create proposals, and handle other renewal activities including 120-day advance account reviews for marketing, Acord applications updated, loss runs and submission
- Review audits of policies; verify accuracy and facilitate corrections between client and carrier
- Maintain and update files in the agency management system
- Verify policy and changes information, facilitating corrections when necessary
- Process and follow up on cancellation requests to carriers to ensure accurate and timely resolution
- Assist clients in submitting first claim reports, facilitate a response from carrier staff and follow up on claims
TECHNOLOGY: Experience working with Applied EPIC, AMS 360 Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet savvy, interface with carrier portals to rate, quote, update, renew and manage policies
EDUCATION: JBachelor’s Degree 2005 ***Currently Studying for CRIS
