Summary:  Commercial Lines Account Executive with 19 years’ experience 

Insurance BROKERAGE DAY to DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• ServiceCommercial Line accounts ranging from $1000 to $500,000 in premium
• Develop professional and friendly relations with clients and companies
• Place new and renewal business
• Discuss and review accounts with insureds
• Prepare policy summaries and reviews
• Maintain monthly expiration lists making sure appropriate action is taken.
• Process client and company requests, binders, schedules, certificates, evidence of properties, ID cards, invoices. Check and process policies, endorsements and audits
• Record and administer customer and company transactions via Applied EPIC Computer Systems; Interface, quote and rate with insurance companies; Train and mentor employees.
• Invoice agency bill for installments and financed premiums 
• FileSurplus taxes with Elany
• Follow up on cancellation notices withinsureds and brokers 

Product Knowledge

• Good understanding of the market place, pricing and financing
• Capable of interpreting complex coverage questions and explaining them to insureds
• Experienced in BOPs, Commercial Auto, Commercial Packages, Crime, Excess/Surplus, Fire/B&M, General Liability, Inland Marine; Professional Liabilities, D&O, E&O, and EPLI, Surety, Safety Groups, Umbrellas, and Workers Comp. 

Client Experience: Experience in servicing small, mid-size and large commercial clients in a fast pace atmosphere. Clients include Manufacturing, Wholesale Distributers, Technology, Real Estate, Construction, Retail, Restaurants, Mom & Pop shops and other businesses typical of Long Island. 

IT experience, Applied EPIC, Applied TAM, Windows, MS Word, internet and insurance company quoting, rating and interface software with carriers such as, but not limited to Hartford, Travelers, Utica, Arc,  Harleysville, Amtrust, Kingston as well as, wholesalers and specialty markets.
