OBJECTIVE:  To obtain a Personal Line Account Manager position within a professional Insurance Agency where            my experience, contacts and knowledge will have valued application  

Personal line Account Executive EXPERIENCE: Place new & renewal business. Sell new clients and round existing client portfolios. Develop and implement insurance programs for clients. Determine client’s market compatibility & pricing. Correspond and visit with clients and carriers to conduct business. Participate in new business presentations. Process client and company requests, binders, schedules, certificates, billing, endorsements, audits, etc. Check and process new lines, renewals, and endorsements. Assist clients with claim settlements and collect premiums.  Record client/insurance company transactions via computer. 

Insurance KNOWLEDGE: Competent knowledge of all coverage required to properly cover clients. Good understanding of “the market place”, pricing, financing and various rating plans. Able to research and network with business friends to interpret coverage questions and explore new market possibilities. Capable of designing good insurance programs and making proposals to clients and companies. Negotiate with underwriters and navigate websites with over 50 carriers, wholesalers and specialty markets. Experienced at servicing small, mid- size and High Net worth clients that pay annual premiums between $1,000.00 and $50,000.00. 

Interpersonal Skills:  Able to get along with people; extremely focused with tasks at hand; independent thinker and problem solver.  Dedicated, loyal, hard worker with strong verbal & written communication skills. 

Software: Proficient with EPIC, Partner XE, carrier web navigation, Word, Excel

Personal Line Account Executive supporting an assigned book of middle market clients and several VIP clients

  • Participate in new business sales presentations and produce new business
  • Provide day-to-day personal line services to mid-market including client and company requests, binders, ID cards, schedules, certificates, property proofs, billing, endorsements, audits
  • Place new and renewal business
