OBJECTIVE Commercial Insurance Account Executive eager to secure a full-time remote position and contribute business development, client relation and industry knowledge to your client services. 

EXPERIENCE SUMMARY

  • Twenty-plus years of progressive experience in the commercial insurance industry with expertise in brokerage account management, risk analysis, marketing, client services and underwriting.
  • Experienced servicing mid-size and large commercial clients in a fast-paced atmosphere
  • Manage portfolios of accounts ranging from $5,000 to $500,000 in premium.
  • Considerable experience insuring real estate, construction, manufacturing, mercantile, not-for-profits distributors, automotive, artisans, technology, restaurants, professional offices & typical mid-market clients.
  • Good understanding of the marketplace, pricing, financing, and various rating plans.
  • Place business via direct negotiation and carrier web portals with over 25 carriers
  • Abel to explore new markets and develop industry-specific programs.
  • Capable of interpreting complex coverage questions.
  • Successfully manage existing accounts while acquiring new clientele
  • Start-to-finish In-depth knowledge of all Insurance Brokerage processes and procedures.
  • Proficiently prepare applications, submissions, quotes and proposals for new business and renewals
  • Negotiate coverage terms and premiums with underwriters and wholesalers.
  • Check policies for accuracy and completeness.
  • Effectively take, route, and follow up on first reports of claims.
  • Maintain Cancellation/Reinstatement Logs
  • Accurately manage policy billing, audits and endorsements
  • Issue Certificates of Insurance/Evidence of Property; prepare Schedules; maintain Expiration Lists
  • Solid experience in training, supervising, and scheduling top-performing support teams
  • Work closely with internal departments and external agencies.
  • Consistently achieve very high levels of client satisfaction
  • Dynamic communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • Proven record of organization, prioritization and time management
  • Meet critical deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Proactive team player equally effective in independent and collaborative environments
  • IT Proficient in Applied EPIC, Word, Excel, numerous carrier portals, internet quoting and rating and other
