Broad Knowledge of Insurance Industry Products and Services   

• Strategized with internal and external partners to design multilayered International Casualty, Products, Excess Liability, D&O, EPLI, Crime, Fiduciary, Wage & Hour, Technology E&O, Cyber, Special Insurance, and Property insurance policies and solutions.
• Utilized RMIS’ to collect global underwriting data
• Negotiated reductions in LOC tied to large deductible WC policy.
• Procured OCP policies when necessary for large projects.

Claims and Loss Control

• Managed workers’ compensation, automobile, property, marine, completed operations and product liability claims.
• Prepared the insurance claims reserve schedule and memo, summarizing reserves for all open claims.
• Led claim reviews with HR, insurance carriers, adjusters, and insurance brokers to ensure claims are valued correctly and close as quickly as possible.
• Collaborated with operational teams to implement driver training programs in America and Europe.
• Managed, processed, and led initiatives to reduce completed operation claims tied to 800 U.S. equipment service technicians.
• Worked with domestic and international safety managers to implement safety and engineering recommendations from the company’s property insurance carrier.

Mergers and Acquisitions

• Managed acquisition due diligence for North American, European, and South American deals.
• Coordinated with business development, brokers and carriers to create insurance integration plans for newly acquired companies, including but not limited to arranging broker of record letter execution, tail coverage placement, and premium cost modeling.

Insurance Administration

• Managed the certificate of insurance and indemnity contract requirements for over 4,000 suppliers, including reporting compliance statistics to senior management and escalating non-compliant
• Managed the issuance and maintenance of bid bonds, surety bonds, and U.S. Customs bonds.
• Reviewed contracts and provided appropriate bonds and certificates of insurance as needed.
• Successfully procured and implemented Risk Management Information Systems (Origami, CertFocus) for property insurance and supplier compliance.

Project Management Skills

• Led the RFP process for the CertFocus certificate tracking system
• Automated U.S. the supplier onboarding process with DocuSign
• Placed a stand-alone products liability in Brazil
