Participated in annual property and casualty renewal program with input translating into 3% savings annually with total insurance premiums of $5,100,000.00 annually; set early onset of renewal process at 120 days, develop equipment/vehicle, property location and equipment schedules, including values/depreciation for composite rated auto policy renewal, Quarterly MVR reviews, maintain DO NOT Driver lists, maintain loss run history 7+ years, coordinated webinar and training classes offered by insurance carrier risk consultants, developed RTW procedures; approved subcontractor insurance requirements, maintained certificates of insurance; strategic management of claims approved reserves and settlement authority to $250,000.00; reconciled and processed monthly claim management invoices, managed performance & payment, labor & material & permit bonds; lead weekly safety meeting with all business units, monthly safety meeting with COO CFO & CEO, PM and management to address operational issues, forecast yearly objectives. Prepared report on lagging indicators, with the ultimate goal of reducing risk and loss costs. 

Claims & Risk Manager …Managed team of 5-7 employees for claims analysis from first report to resolution related to fleet related MVA's, stray voltage detection, underground utility damages caused by mechanized equipment, mis-mark or failure to locate damage claims, all other claims that which fell under either a $1M deductible or lower SIR program. Claims included general liability, construction/labor law, auto, EPLI, and workers' compensation losses associated with all aspects of electric, gas, water & telecommunications utilities and civil construction, participate in weekly safety meetings with lessons learned; point of contact for carrier auditors, expound on financial reserves earmarked for claims reported to carrier and claims retained, participate in yearly insurance renewals, document disciplinary action for employees with multi accident history.
