Commercial Insurance Team Manager

• Oversee commercial insurance team of 6 professionals
• Manage and maintain a book of business of $25,000,000 in premium/ $4,000,000 in revenue/ 125 accounts
• Daily service of large book of business (multiple states) consisting of real estate, technology and retail
• Responsible for growth within the book of business through up-sell and other insurance product offerings
• Work together with Management Liability to ensure client coverage is up to date
• Renewal marketing and negotiating with underwriters for best terms, conditions and pricing
• Creation of multiple insurer programs for best terms, conditions and pricing
• Visit clients on a routine basis to strengthen relationships and discuss coverage questions
• Discuss insurance renewals and exposures with producers to ensure the needs of clients are being met as well as set expectations due to market conditions
• Discussions with agency executives and upper management to discuss renewal strategies
• Work with major insurance carriers for direct placed business
• Mentor and manage teammates by helping to solve coverage issues that may arise
• Hold weekly and monthly meetings to review teammates book of business
