Personal Line Account Executive
- Manage and grow assigned book of 800 mid-market and high-net-worth business.
- Provide all marketing, renewal and day to day client services
- Pursue business leads by acquiring information necessary to quote, underwrite and market accounts.
- Perform extensive client analysis to develop customized insurance solutions.
- Evaluate policy coverage terms and limits for adequacy relative to client need.
- Establish and strengthen relationships with assigned H-N-W and mid-market accounts.
- Cross-sell and quote additional lines of insurance to new and existing clients.
- Evaluate clients’ needs and determine coverage and market alternatives.
- Develop internal marketing strategies and up sell/upgrade existing clients.
- Prepare quotes and bind coverage for all lines of business in all states.
- Follow-up on all home appraisal recommendations.
- Prepare, process and follow-up on all Broker of Record Letters; additional coverages needed.
- Facilitate policy change requests, issue binders, certificates, ID cards.
- Address client questions regarding premiums/billings, coverages and claims.
- Place personal line business via direct negotiation with underwriters and/or carrier portals. Companies include but not limited to; Pure, Chubb, AIG, Travelers, Andover, Hartford, Hanover, Adirondack, National General, Berkley One, Narragansett Bay, Progressive, SAFECO, Plymouth Rock, Utica, Ocean Harbor
- Proficient in various custom insurance databases such as Applied Epic Systems, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Internet services and carrier websites
