Personal Lines Account Executive


OBJECTIVE: To obtain a position with a Professional Broker that recognizes value in my experience and knowledge                       while supporting obtaining Broker’s License 


  • Competent knowledge of all coverage required to properly cover clients including homeowners, multiple locations, co-ops, tenants, liability, auto, watercraft, recreational vehicles, collections, monoline, inland marine, flood and umbrella coverage.
  • Good understanding of the market place, pricing, financing and rating. Capable of designing good insurance programs and making proposals to clients and companies. Negotiate with underwriters and navigate websites with over 15 carriers, wholesalers and specialty markets including but not limited to Chubb, Travelers, Encompass; Merchants, Progressive, Narraganset and 


  • Professional, pleasant, diplomatic and discreet when dealing with others
  • Accustom to handling sensitive, confidential records
  • Team player that can work independently
  • Thorough planning and organizational skills that timely balance work and responsibilities
  • Excellent conflict resolution skills 

IT SKILLS:   Internet savvy, experience rating, quoting and administering policies via carrier portals, Applied TAM system. Expert in Microsoft (Word, PowerPoint & Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Personal Lines Account Executive: Servicing 600 mid-market and upper middle market clients ($3,000 to $75,000 pv)

  • Provide day to day personal lines, brokerage services, marketing and policy renewal
  • Speak with clients regarding insurance coverages and needs
  • Quote and rate new and existing business
  • Expedite client and company requests
  • Sell clients and round client portfolios
  • Develop and implement insurance programs for clients
  • Determine client’s market compatibility & pricing.
  • Place new and renewal business
  • Correspond with clients and carriers to conduct business
  • Process client and company requests, binders, schedules, certificates, billing, endorsements, audits, policy renewals, cancellations, rewrites, claims, expiration list
  • Check and process new lines, renewals, and endorsements
  • Assist clients with claims and collect premiums
  • Record client/insurance company transactions via AMS 360 ant Applied Tam Systems
