- Determine acceptability of risk in accordance with guidelines and standards
- Choose the appropriate carrier based on risk and pricing
WHOLESALE UNDERWRITER
- Develop and place business 50-60 brokers
- Review submitted risks and determine the best markets
- Build business relationships and resolve issues in a professional manor
- Create marketing plans acceptable to the broker and place the business
- Advise clients on risk exposure and ways to mitigate risks
- Notify Retail Agencies of adverse underwriting decisions, rate appeals, requirements, and declinations
Retail Account Executive- Provide all P/C brokerage services and support to clients including but not limited to General Contractors, Artisans, Auto repair/collision shops, Mom & Pop shops, Transportation Companies, Nursing Homes, Supermarkets, restaurants and other business typical of the tri-state area.
