COO and Commercial Line Manager 

Supervise a staff of 8 CSRs in the Commercial Lines Unit while managing a commercial book of business covering industries including: Real Estate, Wholesale, Retail, Construction, Non-Profit & Professional generating over $4,000,000 commission.

• Oversee day to day operations of 45 Person Brokerage
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with producers, clients’, underwriting and claims staffs
• Market new business and renewals.
• Promote and practice cross selling and account rounding
• Complete performance appraisals for CSRs
• Determine coverage needs and gaps, provide insight and recommendations and solutions to clients.
• Responsible for all of the surety underwriting in the office. Attorney-in-fact for 4 Sureties
• Weekly reporting of new business to management
• Training staff on different types of coverage
• Training staff on rating systems
• Training staff on Agency Management System
